The Jump

The Jump — hosted by Zootown 406 in Missoula, Montana — is an official qualifier of the MSBC Circuit, setting the tone for a competitive season ahead. This two-day tournament takes place January 2nd and 3rd, with boys and girls divisions from 2nd through 8th grade.

Games are played within Zootown's Elite tournament standards — prioritizing fast play, fair competition and a professional atmosphere. Champions of the 6th–8th Grade divisions earn their ticket to the State Tournament in Helena.

Each team is guaranteed 4+ games, with pool play leading into bracket play and champions crowned in every division. The Jump is more than a tournament: it is where teams earn MSBC qualification and prove they belong in the conversation with the best.
